Are you considering whether your child could benefit from assistive technology? Join us to learn about the laws that pertain to assistive technology devices and services, how to request an AT assessment, what that process looks like, as well as ideas for writing IEP goals pertaining to assistive technology, and a list of helpful resources.
Presenters:
Elizabeth Ortega from Team of Advocates for Special Kids (TASK): TASK helps families navigate special education, disability services and assistive technology. We provide families with emotional support, information, and direction. When needed, we refer them to other agencies for additional services. Our goal is to promote cooperation between families and schools to help kids succeed.
