The Board comprises members with diverse expertise in areas like legal, financial, and marketing fields. Active participation and collaboration are vital for effective decision-making. Recent changes emphasize the importance of Board Members in shaping infrastructure for new programs, requiring adherence to additional guidelines and principles.
Qualifications for DSALA Board Members:
- Demonstrate interest in developmental disabilities.
- Serve a minimum one-year term, attend meetings and events, commit to DSALA's vision.
- Review and support organization policies and core competencies.
- Show compassion for the demographic served and contribute new ideas.
